After the Oscars comes the march of premieres for films that won’t win awards but will be fun to watch.
Like The Devil Wears Prada 2, which I will 100% be seeing in theatres despite being completely over the non-stop promotional tie-ins.
Or Swapped, an animated Netlix flick where Michael B. Jordan plays a “tiny woodland creature” who body swaps with a “regal bird” played by Ted Lasso’s Juno Temple. Okay!
No one’s dressing to be taken seriously on the red carpet, either. MBJ has ditched his double-breasted suits in favor of embellished cardigans. Stanley Tucci is wearing every color he can get his hands on. It’s great.
