There’s a chance I may have told this story before, but I always think of it this time of year...

My tolerance for April Fool’s shenanigans is low, thanks to a traumatic incident in fifth grade. The teacher, Mrs. Balfort, handed out a math worksheet full of long division problems.

The issue? We hadn’t learned long division yet.

I was about to cry when I notice one student, then another, confidently striding to the front of the classroom to drop their sheets in the basket.

What the fuck? I thought. Or whatever the fifth grade equivelant of “What the fuck?” would have been.

Furiously, I scanned the worksheet for more guidance and then I saw it.

There at the bottom, a photocopied addendum: Instructions: “Hand this worksheet in now, and happy April Fool’s!“

This month’s Wardrobe Report contains no such hi-jinks. You won’t click through on a cool pair of shoes or jaunty knit polo only to be Rickrolled. Just stylish, shoppable outfits to wear all April long.

No fooling,
